Job DetailsThe Select Group is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to support climate-related measurement, management, and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) and carbon emissions. This role focuses on data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process improvements to support sustainability initiatives. The position involves collaborating across teams, reporting GHG inventory, and driving energy efficiency projects. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a growing team, supporting impactful sustainability initiatives while collaborating across business units. Please note this role is hybrid, with 4 days a week required on-site in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Sustainability Analyst Must Have Skills: - Strong MS office experience (PowerPoint, Excel - Vlook-ups and Pivot tables required)
- Experience working for a large, corporate organization with exposure to sustainability, greenhouse gas, and/or carbon emissions.
- Familiarity with Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to complete tasks independently
- Experience developingmethodologies and calculatingcomplete Scope 3 emissions, particularly focusing on taking existing lifecycle assessments from internal analysis and external vendors and calculating them by GHG
- Greenhouse gas corporate accounting within Salesforce or similar, Salesforce preferred
Sustainability AnalystNice to Have Skills: - Prior exposure or experience with Salesforce NetZero Cloud
Sustainability Analyst Day to Day Responsibilities: - This person will own translation of the data. They are working on projects for energy efficiency. The role will be roughly 25% supporting the business division and reporting (supporting opportunities and putting data together into PowerPoint). Hoping that the primary part of the role will be around energy efficiency- will change over time. Right now, looking at consumption, ability to gain insights. Over time this will become more project focused.
- Reports GHG inventory data in various formats (Excel, PPT, dashboards) and breakouts (by scope, by goal/targets and by business division) as requested of Sustainability Department
- Directly supports cross functional stakeholders responsible for collecting activity data, including data validation and surveys from site managers
- Collaborates with facilities and Property Management on site sustainability dashboard of our real estate portfolio, delivering data driven insights and identifying opportunities for energy efficiency and carbon emissions reduction initiatives
- Key support to internal stakeholders in developing the business case, cost savings, energy savings for energy efficiency projects
