The Office of Administrative Services is looking for an Environmental Accounting Manager.

This position reports to the Chief of the Environmental Quality Division in the Office of Administrative Services and is responsible for providing technical accounting and financial support to the division by processing all finance/accounting functions.
Examples of Work Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Manages multiple accounts for the division which are made up of state, federal and general fund accounts.
- Analyzes, interprets, and applies federal, state, local government, and private funder's statutes, rules, and regulations regarding grant administration.
- Maintains and audits financial records, accounts, ledgers, and journals.
- Drafts and prepares the initial budget submission for city-cycle accounts and Transfer Directives for off cycle grant accounts.
- Tracks revenue, expenditures and reconciles on a daily basis and provides reports to appropriate staff.
- Tracks and processes multiple state/federal contracts/grants.
- Process journal entries for accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Prepares Transfer Directives/Budget Transfers for the division.
- Processes invoices for payment for purchase/blanket orders and check requests.
- Prepares federal and state reports as contractually required.
- Prepares all requested information for city, state, and federal audits.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
