Job DescriptionThis role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center three times per week, at minimum. GM Energy- Program Manager Public ChargingThe role is to launch and drive continuous improvements of new software, services and agreements with Charge Station Operators for GM Energy to support EV infrastructure. This role involves a high level of independent judgment and ingenuity. The ability to work cross functionally and with various levels of management is a necessity. The role also requires the ability to work and build relationships cross culturally with outside partners.
You will be responsible for coordinating a cross functional team to ensure target deliverables are on time. You are highly organized, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. You're a proactive thinker that acts with urgency. You are comfortable collaborating with various internal stakeholders and working with an executive-level audiences as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize across the Lines of Businesses for multiple product implementations
- Provide project management support for complex integrations across channels and lines of business
- Work with team to develop and deploy complex timing plans
- Follow a change management process and identify continuous improvement ideas that integrates hardware, services and software processes and tools
- Define the program strategy, balancing customer and other requirements for launch if different than long term strategy
- Develop and manage deliverables including process documentation & program timing
- Develop materials for leadership reviews
- Manage issues and uncertainties through effective decision framing and driving for resolution
- Integrate inputs from stakeholders to ensure all voices are heard and considered
- Maintain effectiveness in changing environments and with different technologies and people responsibilities
- Make presentations and run meetings to include agenda management and follow up action items with all levels of leadership
- Monitor and track execution to align with business strategy
Additional Job DescriptionRequired Skills- Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
- 5+ years program management, project management, strategic partnerships, new business development or related
- Experience developing a complex and dynamic program plan, with minimal oversight
- Business process/value stream mapping
- Relationship building/collaboration across a complex organization
- Practical organizational skills in prioritizing workflow and multi-tasking
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Creativity, tenacity, and ability to work in ambiguity
- History of driving high performance teams
- Evidence of strong framing and communication skills
Desired Skills- Knowledge of GM Engineering systems and processes
- Previous or current Program Management assignment
- Business process/value stream mapping
- PMI or PMP certification preferred
- Experience in Public Charging, Energy Management or Home Charging Products
