Deposit and rent required* Position SummaryAt Crazy Mountain Ranch, The Landscape Flower Gardener reports to the Director of Golf Course and Grounds while performing various landscape flower arrangements and maintenance tasks. The Landscape Flower Gardener will be directly involved in a variety of flower planting, care and maintenance assignments associated with the Crazy Mountain Ranch property and its amenity areas. Maintenance operations will be performed utilizing a vast assortment of specialized equipment, machinery, utility vehicles and hand tools.
Job Duties- Organize, plan and participate in maintaining the landscape flower beds, planters and annual flower baskets located on CMR property.
- Perform tasks of planting flowers, bulbs and small vegetation.
- Perform tasks of daily watering of flowers as well as pruning and deadheading.
- Maintain all plantings which includes watering, fertilizing, weeding and general upkeep.
- Equipment operation includes utility vehicles and light maintenance equipment.
- The Landscape Flower Gardener will work with the Director in the selection, ordering of plants and landscaping materials for the club grounds and golf course.
- Design and incorporate the ornamental arrangement of flowers, shrubs and trees in all maintained areas.
- Plant, mulch, weed, deadhead and remove plant materials in accordance with landscape plan.
- Perform daily tasks associated with proper operation and care of all landscape equipment.
Competencies- Experience with fundamental landscape maintenance practices.
- Previous experience working in the planting, care and maintenance of annual and perennial flowers.
- Knowledge of working with annual and perennial flowers and other landscape plantings.
- Knowledge of basic irrigation functions and maintenance.
Qualifications- Ability to work outdoors in different weather condition environments.
- Knowledge of safe and efficient mechanical operation of equipment and motorized vehicles.
- Valid Driver's License
- Possess an ability to follow written and oral directions.
