Botanical Horticulturist
We are looking for three Botanical Horticulturists to join the Gardens Temperate Collections Team. The three positions cover a range of high-profile areas across the Temperate Gardens Section including: The Great Broad Walk Borders, The Hive and Environs, Agius Evolution Garden, Duke’s Garden, The Grass Garden, Queen’s Garden, Children’s Garden, Elizabeth Gate and Environs.
The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in maintaining the world class collections.
These displays are important components of Kew’s living heritage landscape and visitor offer, and it is critical that they are kept to a high standard. The successful applicant will have an eye for detail, pride in their work and a passion for plants and gardens.

The successful candidates will have a Horticultural qualification equivalent to NVQ level 2 or above (or equivalent experience), experience of working in ornamental horticulture, caring for a range of woody and herbaceous plants, hedging and turf, use of machinery and proven experience and understanding of carrying out horticultural techniques in a team environment.

The salary for this position is £28,550 per annum [Band B]
