What you will doYou will work as part of a 3-person crew, supported by an electrician, to complete solar installations safely, efficiently, and up to quality standards. As an Experienced Installer, you will be responsible for guiding the roof portion of the installation.
Key Duties
- Accurately read plan sets
- Install solar systems on all roof types
- Responsible for roof layout and roof penetrations
- Install level racking and grounding for racking
- Responsible for basic electrical knowledge on the roof (running home runs/jumper wires for multiple arrays)
- Install tilt kits and modules
- Represent Simply Solar in a positive and professional manner
Qualifications- 1.5 years of solar installation or Roofing experience required
- Reliable transportation to and from the Petaluma Warehouse
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience with ground mounts or batteries preferred
- Experience leading and training a crew is a plus
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
- Physically able to stand, lift, squat, and carry materials/ Tools
