General Manager at Crowley Energy and Main Street Fuel
Position Summary:
A General Manager is a high level field leadership role overseeing all aspects of the business operations, including energy distribution, sales, customer service, finance, team management, hiring and training top talent. The General Manger will be accountable for the over all profitability and growth of the business in their market location.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with the company goals, including profitability, growth of the business and operational improvements
- Mange financial performance, analyze financial data to identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth
- Identify/hire top talent, motivate staff across various departments to encourage and ensure high performance
- Manage day to day operations ensuring safety compliance is a priority
- Foster a customer focus culture, address customer concerns, and strive to enhance customer satisfaction
- Oversee sales activities, partnership with vendors and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Track key performance metrics, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary adjustments
- Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of all energy policies, procedures, and programs. Maintain an understanding of all federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to petroleum distribution and service.
- Collaborate and leverage field and corporate partners to ensure strong overall company performance to impact and influence future growth
Experience:
This position requires a minimum of 4 years experience leading people. A minimum of 4 years experience managing a full-service energy operation is strongly preferred.

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

This position has a major role in the Market’s safety program. The success of these programs is dependent on the General Manager's leadership and commitment to reducing employee injuries, vehicle accidents, and liability claims.
