What we are looking forSCS Engineers is growing and we are looking for a Senior Project Manager for our Midwest Environmental Services Team. This position will support our ongoing industrial air compliance and RCRA compliance consulting, climate change practice, and sustainability practice. As a Senior Project Manager, you will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities from current and new clients, as well as managing projects, developing proposals, project production, and related issues in the Midwest and other National markets as appropriate. You will maintain client relationships and ensure that projects are completed and delivered with the purpose of meeting Clients' business objectives. You will be reporting into the Kansas City office, but looking for someone to be in the Springfield, Missouri area ideally.
How you can make an impact- Lead or have an active role in client prospecting, developing and executing client plans, and business development/marketing plans in the southern/southwest Missouri geographic area.
- Work closely with the GHG/Sustainability, and CAA Strategic Initiative leaders to identify marketing opportunities and further develop technical expertise related to the initiative both at a local and national level.
- Seek out and make connections within company to secure technical work and the opportunity to provide expertise to others within our organization.
- Develop proposals by working with clients to understand their business objectives, and to provide solutions that meet clients' expectations and technical needs.
- Develop project scopes, objectives, and budgets involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with our business strategy.
- Assist other Project Managers or staff when additional support or technical expertise is needed
- Document preparation, calculations, modeling, proposals, and business development related to the above-listed work.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, in accordance with the scope and within budget.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Manage existing/future relationships with clients and establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Oversee, manage, and develop lower-level staff to grow their knowledge and establish a career path.
- Although some fieldwork may be necessary at certain times, the emphasis will be significantly on office work.
- Some work-related travel will be necessary but usually limited to a short trips and is largely self-directed.
Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Science required.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience required.
- Knowledge of air quality, GHG, NSPS, NESHAPS rules.
- Knowledge of MDNR, KDHE and/or other state air (both Title V and NSR) permitting and RCRA policies and procedures.
- Valid Driver's License with a driving record in good standing required
Pay RangeUSD $110,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
