Implements detailed landscape plans. Plants, fertilizes, applies chemicals, waters, weeds, and prunes woody and herbaceous plants, and actively participates in the daily care and maintenance of gardens and grounds at Kiroli and all 27 locations we maintain around the city.
Job Summary:
- General maintenance and beautification of gardens, plants, and all city locations we are responsible for.
- Plants, transplants, fertilizes, applies chemicals, prunes, waters and weeds flower beds and plant areas.
- Maintains flowers, trees, bushes, and shrubs.
- Plants and propagates bedding plants and assist in greenhouse operations.
- May assist in various maintenance activities as required.
- Assists with work direction advised by manager and lead gardener.
- Implements detailed landscape plans.
- The use and maintenance of basic hand tools and the use light machinery.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions; endurance to walk, kneel, stand, stoop, bend, and climb. Must be able have the strength to push, pull and lift to 50 lbs.
- May assist with basic maintenance activities as required.
