Job DescriptionThe OpportunityAs a Polymers Chemical Engineer, Co-Op you will collaborate with the corporate engineering and maintenance teams to support projects and special initiatives within the MAPEI Operations, Maintenance and Supply Chain functions. These positions can lead into either full-time corporate engineering opportunities, either in the corporate setting or field operations.
- Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks
- Support engineers with product development tasks such as testing and test support
- Collect and analyze relevant data and metric
- Document and maintain Tech product data
- Assist with the preparation of reports and other project deliverables
- Perform field visits and site reconnaissance as dictated by the project requirements
- Host location: MAPEI facility in West Chicago
The Program Details - Fulltime, 40 hours weekly
- Start May 2025 - End Dec 2025 (6 months)
- Practical onsite learning at the West Chicago Plant location with the Operations Engineering Team.
