We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager, Environmental Engineer, Environmental Scientist, or Geologist to serve our Los Angeles/Orange County remediation projects and clients. This
full-time, hybrid position is based out of our
Costa Mesa, CA office location.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThe successful candidate will:- Serve as a key member of the environmental group with the ability to step in and immediately manage projects in southern California.
- Work collaboratively with a passionate team supporting a wide variety of clients with challenging projects.
- Understand client needs and be able to develop strong client relationships.
- Have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements in California.
- Be capable of fully managing financial, technical, and regulatory aspects of projects.
- Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
- Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client and regulatory deliverables.
- Be effective in assigning and managing work.
- Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills to junior level staff.
- Possess skills in quality control, planning, cost estimating, and scheduling.
- Direct environmental field observation and testing programs.
- Be able to effectively manage various remediation projects.
- Develop a working understanding of H&A's other consulting practice areas and actively support marketing other services to existing clients.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE- Minimum Bachelor of Science (Master's degree preferred) in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geology
- Minimum 8 -10 years of relevant consulting experience in Southern California with: environmental regulations, environmental investigations and site characterization, remediation technologies, operation and maintenance, and construction.
- Have CA professional registration PE/PG - or can get it within 6 months of hire
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient at writing, reviewing, and editing technical reports to meet scope and quality objectives and client expectations.
- Ability to comply with the Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company Handbook.

The salary range for this position in
Costa Mesa, CA is $110,000 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.
