Role accountabilities:As an Environmental Permitting Project Manager, you will lead teams of biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, engineers, and other technical specialists to successfully execute environmental permitting projects. This includes developing permitting strategies, leading the preparation of permit applications, and coordinating with both regulatory agencies and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
Therefore, it is expected that you have demonstrated experience with state and federal laws and regulations, including the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act.
In this role, you will also be involved in supporting the growth of new and existing client relationships in conjunction with business development leaders and account leaders. This will include leading pursuits and proposal opportunities, including scope and cost development.

Required qualifications for the role include:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or similar environmental discipline
- 7+ years of relevant experience managing environmental permitting projects in Texas and the Gulf Region in the environmental consulting industry
- Experienced project manager who is schedule-driven, with experience estimating and managing costs and delivery of environmental planning projects
- Significant experience with the development of permit applications and permitting strategy with state-specific experience in Texas and the Gulf Coast region. Experience consulting/working with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is required. NEPA experience is preferred
- Experience leading teams and working in collaboration with scientists, engineers, archaeologists, and other specialists in developing environmental documents for environmental projects

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $88,580 - $132,870. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
