STV has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced
Senior Water Resources H&H Engineer to join our Design Team in our
Houston, TX location
Key responsibilities will include design and review of all phases of water resource aspects for our various projects.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Licensed PE in Texas and CFM preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, or related surface water engineering.
- Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience in both steady and unsteady modeling, 1D and 2D modeling.
- Experience with the following is preferred: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-1, HEC-2, InfoWorks, XPSWMM 1D & 2D, MIKE Flood, ArcGIS 9.3 or later, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-GeoHMS, and ArcHydro.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and delivery client presentations.
- Relationship with local/regional clients and consultants.
Responsibilities- Plans, coordinates, and directs H&H engineering analysis and design on multiple projects with many complex features.
- Interacts with project clients.
- Responsible for developing and mentoring less experienced staff.
- Performs hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, prepares hydrologic and hydraulic models, evaluates results, and summarizes results and recommendations to produce drainage impact studies, conveyance analysis, storage analysis, and other drainage improvements.
- Coordinates production and/or provides QA/QC to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate documentation.
- Provides technical input/review of project deliverables.
- Prepares scope, budgets and proposals.
- Responsible for financial tracking and invoicing.
Compensation Range:
$128,656.00 - $171,541.00
