If you are a Travelling Superintendent with experience in industrial construction, we need you. We are looking for someone with strong food and beverage cold storage experience. Our markets include Oil & Gas Processing, Renewable Energy, Solid Waste and Recycling, Infrastructure and Transportation, Food & Beverage, Environmental, Water & Wastewater projects throughout the United States. As with most traveler's jobs, we will fly you home every couple of weeks, and give you a company truck or a car allowance along with a great benefits package and competitive pay. But the role will be almost 100 % travel. What You Need for this Position - Ten (10) year minimum experience in process related work such as food and beverage, light industrial, renewable energy, or other industrial related fields. - Experience working in environments that comply with Good Manufacturing Practices related to Food and Beverage facilities including protein (pork, poultry, beef, alternative proteins), bakeries, prepared foods and other food, beverage, and consumer good products. - Familiarity with Raw and Ready-to Eat construction, details, and specifications. - Basic knowledge of Food and Beverage regulations including USDA. FDA, FSMA and other related standards. - Experience working on the construction of refrigerated and frozen facilities. - Ability to understand, construct and inspect details for food processing and cold storage facilities. - Understanding and experience in projects with heavy emphasis in process piping, electrical and controls and HVAC. - Proficiency in field/construction use of Procore. - OSHA 30 certification as a minimum, OSHA 100 preferable. What You Will Be Doing - Coordinate with Project Manager and vendors/suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all required materials/services to complete project scopes. - Review drawings to identify potential issues related to vapor barrier integrity and non-compliance with Food and Beverage Good Manufacturing Practices. - Work in Management of Change led renovations and/or upgrades of operating Food and Beverage facilities. - Maintain a safe site in compliance with OSHA, company and owner-specific safety programs and guidelines. - Assure development, implementation, and compliance with project-specific Safety (HASP) program, including an emergency evacuation plan and Crisis Management plan. - Assure compliance with incident/accident reporting. -Provide guidance, direction, and coordination of all on-site subcontract work. - Assure Subcontractor compliance with all project safety requirements, including weekly safety meetings and reports. - Assure Subcontractor compliance with all subcontract requirements, including design requirements; staff drug and alcohol policies; sexual harassment policy; hazard communication policy; EEO policy; etc. Benefits - Vacation/PTO - Medical - 401k - Bonus If this sounds like a job for you and you have the experience that we are looking for or something close to it, send me your resume and I will follow up with a call.
