Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Specialty Woodworker for custom architectural projects. Duties include the utilization of woodworking tools to build custom projects per specified drawings, ensuring the scope of work is completed on time, on budget with a focus on excellent quality while maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Duties:
- Interpret fabrication drawings, bill of materials and work manuals.
- Utilize woodworking tools to complete custom projects.
- Maintain woodworking machinery, including routers, shapers, and various hand tools.
- Identify concerns or problems with current design or manufacturing process.
- Complete all quality checks including checklists and quality manuals.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solving skills.
Job Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience fabricating custom architectural millwork or cabinetry.
- Working knowledge of woodworking tools including Table saw, router's, planners, and various hand tools.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
- Ability to work hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm.
- Ability to meet deadlines, budgets, and provide quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to train apprentices.
