Responsibilities
- Working with Business Unit Leaders to implement the Firm's strategic business development plan
- Preparing annual business development budget
- Developing, monitoring, and overseeing all business development activity for the Electric BD team
- Conducting bi-monthly business development meetings
- Developing marketing, sales, and advertising plans
- Developing and maintaining quality relationships with clients
- Preparing and presenting presentations to potential and existing clients
- Assisting and participating in other business development activities as required
- Participating in preparation of responses to RFP's
- Developing and presenting client proposals when appropriate
- Conducting annual performance reviews
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- 10-15 years Marketing and Business Development experience with electric utilities or with an engineering consulting firm calling on electric utilities
- College degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
- Strong industry contacts
- Ability and desire to travel 3 to 4 times a month
- Must have a valid driver's license without restrictions
