Position Summary:STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking an Environmental Manager to join the EHS team. This position is responsible for leading a team that provides Environmental support for the entire facility. The incumbent will be responsible to lead all environmental related efforts and to strategically plan, administer and implement all environmental functions at the plant location. The Environmental Manager will have experience managing EPA Title V Air Permits; EPA NESHAP Rules Compliance; RCRA, ISO 14001.
Roles Responsibilities: - Implement and manage environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance, including permits such as Title V Air Permit and SPCC.
- Conduct environmental regulatory training for personnel and oversee documentation and records for the environmental team.
- Follow best practices to prevent exceedances and spills, report findings, and participate in emergency preparedness planning.
- Develop and coordinate Environmental Management System (EMS) activities and seek new methods to control hazards and reduce environmental impacts.
- Implement waste reduction strategies and ensure a GHG/Carbon Footprint reduction program is in place.
- Develop and track sustainability projects and initiatives, assessing their cost-effectiveness, feasibility, and impact.
- Perform other position related duties as assigned
RequirementsQualifications:
Basic:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar position, with strong foundation in project management.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
- Ability to build effective cross functional relationships internally and externally
- Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry/chemical engineering, environment engineering, and relevant experience
- Bilingual English / Korean
- Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access or other database applications
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
- Critical thinking and an analytical mindset
- Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goal

- Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
