University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake - PLANNING AND FACILITIES has an outstanding opportunity for a SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM MANAGER.
WORK SCHEDULE
- FULL-TIME; 40 HOURS PER WEEK; 100% FTE
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures related to sustainability conferring with other departments and staff members as necessary. 10%
- Stay apprised of sustainability regulations and opportunities, ensuring UWMC compliance with current legislation specific to sustainability. 10%
- Monitor and track sustainability indicators, such as energy use, natural resource use, etc. Maintain effective systems of communication, information gathering and documentation. 20%
- Create and maintain plans, reports, and other documents related to sustainability projects and monitor their progress. Ensure projects are directed towards meeting stated goals and objectives. Assist in developing financial analyses and budgets for projects and monitoring. 30%
- Work to promote environmental sustainability with staff and vendors. Consult with departments about sustainability opportunities and issues, identifying their requirements and providing appropriate solutions. 20%
- Communicate with a broad range of groups, including senior leaders, boards, professional colleagues, and other public environments, participate in various committees as assigned. 10%
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in related field
- 2 or more years Sustainability program management experience or equivalent.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
