Job Title: Executive Director

Summary
Harvest House is a faith-based non-profit organization that serves Johnson and Southern Tarrant Counties with food, clothing, and financial assistance. The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of the organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation including program administration and strategic plan implementation. This role requires a visionary leader with strong management skills who will work effectively with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, and the community. The Executive Director also maintains and conveys the mission and vision of Harvest House, ensuring the financial stability of the organization, promoting its mission, and representing it in public and private settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the organization.
- Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives in alignment with Harvest House mission.
- Inspire and motivate staff, volunteers, and donors to achieve the organization's goals.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of programs and services.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
- Manage annual budget; oversee financial planning and reporting.
- Ensure financial sustainability through effective fundraising, grant writing, and resource management.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop policies, set priorities, and establish strategic goals.
- Provide monthly updates and reports to the Board on organizational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Represent Harvest House in public and professional forums, building its reputation and influence.
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote the mission and programs of Harvest House.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development.
- Ensure effective management of human resources policies and practices.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred; or
- Minimum 5 years' experience in senior leadership with a proven track record of successful organization management, preferably in a non-profit setting.
