Responsibilities - Manufacturing Support: Ensure safety and optimal performance of polymer lines. Troubleshoot issues and provide daily technical assistance to ensure reliable and high-quality operations.
- Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical support, championing safety, environmental, quality, and reliability metrics. Mentor and train engineers and operators, providing strategic guidance aligned with business priorities.
- Process Innovation: Identify and implement process improvement projects. Lead trials related to raw materials, cost savings, yield, quality, and new product commercialization. Generate and implement cost-saving ideas to optimize line performance and reduce costs.
- Scale-up Excellence: Collaborate with stakeholders on growth projects. Plan and execute development trials, collect data, and ensure smooth transitions from pilot to full-scale production.
- Capital Expertise: Drive and coordinate capital projects. Work with operations, planning, and scheduling teams to develop effective designs and communicate project scopes. Train operations teams and ensure successful project implementation.

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (B. S.) or higher in Chemical Engineering required.
- Three (3) or more years of manufacturing process development experience required.
- Ability to lead and collaborate on team projects.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of personnel.
- Leadership abilities and a results-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with industrial plant environments and equipment.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
