LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS:
Driving record should meet University underwriting guidelines to drive vehicle in performance of University business. Current underwriting guidelines include possession a valid driver’s license, issued in the United States; at least 21 years of age; at least three years of driving experience; maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of energy efficiency principles and practices.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend energy-saving solutions for new and existing projects.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, HVAC systems, lighting systems, and building automation.
- Knowledge of green building standards (LEED)
- Awareness of utility metering, water conservation techniques, and energy procurement processes.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software and simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct energy audits and assessments.
- Effective project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PERSONAL:
Possess the necessary physical requirements, with or without the aid of mechanical devices, to safely perform the duties and responsibilities of this position to include:
- Lifting, moving and carrying a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
- Climbing stairs, ladders and scaffolding and working at heights above thirty (30) feet
- Perform tasks requiring bending, standing long periods of time, stooping, kneeling, walking significant distances between and within buildings on campus.
- Working in confined spaces
- Working within extreme temperature ranges
