Job Description
Role Overview: As a Remote Appointment Setter and Lead Generator, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities for our company. You will be responsible for identifying and contacting potential clients, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments for our sales team. This is a remote position, but candidates should have a good understanding of the New York market and the needs of local homeowners and businesses. Every appointment you book has to meet the following criteria:
• Must own their home
• Have a credit score of 650 or more
• Average electric bill of $150 or more
• Little to no roof shade
• All decision makers present
• Interested in going solar
• They know it's NOT FREE
• Currently working not retired
• Find out roof condition (if it's bad we give them a brand new roof and switch them to solar with zero out of pocket) we call it the roof rescue program
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate and identify qualified leads through various channels (social media, online research, networking, referrals, etc.)
• Contact prospective homeowners/ customers via phone, email, and other digital platforms to introduce the company's services and assess interest
• Schedule qualified appointments for the client, make sure the homeowners criteria is met before you make the appointments
• Maintain a database of leads, track interactions, and follow up with potential clients regularly
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market demands within the New York solar and roofing industry
• Achieve and exceed monthly lead generation and appointment-setting targets
Skill Set
• Proven experience in appointment setting, lead generation, or sales (experience in solar or roofing industries is a plus) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential clients • Know how to handle objections • Willing to make as many calls necessary to hit monthly target • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management tools • Basic knowledge of solar energy, roofing, or home improvement services is a bonus • Comfortable making outbound calls, sending emails and doing whatever you can to get qualified appointments on the client's calendar • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment
