Volt is immediately hiring for Manufacturing Engineer in Greeneville, TNAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will: - Integrates an individual into the engineering culture by performing specific manufacturing engineering assignments that are limited in scope, depth and degree of skill required.
- Uses problem solving methodology to establish root cause and sustainable corrective action.
- Learns and uses planning tools and analysis to formulate/facilitate project management for new products within the product delivery, order fulfillment or customer support processes.
- Investigates product and process quality related issues and recommends changes to control plans and continuous improvement projects.
- Gathers and analyzes data pertinent in the Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP), Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and/or Customer Support Process (CSP).
- Inputs and maintains information in factory databases and systems. Monitors quality plan tracking system. Assists in reviews and investigations of warranty claim information.
Required Skills: - Manufacturing Related Experience (Electrical, Design, Quality, or Industrial Engineering) or BS Engineering
- Lean Manufacturing, 6-Sigma, Project Management knowledge/skills
- Computer Skills: Including CAD, Office Suite/Power BI
Preferred Skills: - Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field
- Experience Preferred in following areas: Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering
Shift: 1st Shift.Duration: 24 Months+ Location: Greeneville, TN 37743Work Schedule: OnsitePay Rate: $30/hr - $33/hr. on W2 Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
