The automotive industry is known for the high standards it imposes on all the participants in the value chain. Quality standards are driven by the Original Equipment Manufacturers and are usually governed by the ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System.
The Global Suppliers Quality Leader will implement and maintain processes, improving supplier quality globally. This role is also designed to ensure harmonization of these systems, processes, and policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and control quality standards for suppliers
- Develop and implement supplier audit procedures
- Drive continuous improvement across the organization
- Track and analyze supplier quality issues and drive improvement
- Build internal capabilities related to supplier quality and continuous improvement
- Raise awareness with key stakeholders of new requirements and best practices
- Coordinate Management Review of supplier quality issues
- Global harmonization of Continuous Improvement Capabilities and Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or scientific discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Management, Product Stewardship, or Continuous Improvement disciplines
- Prior quality auditing experience is required
- Prior experience with Quality IT systems is required
- Prior experience of document control methodologies is required
- Strong performance under pressure and the ability to interact with key stakeholders internally and externally
