Ansell is looking for an Associate Director, Commercial Analytics - Medical to join our team in Iselin, NJ!
In this position you will play a vital role in generating data-driven insights to support the commercial strategy and achieve business KPI targets, including sales and EBIT goals within the Medical Sales Division (Commercial Unit) which includes USA and Canada regions and Acute and Alternate Care medical segments.

What your role will be?
- Analyze commercial metrics (sell-out, sell-in, sales pipeline, sales managed through contracts) and gauge the success of existing programs for NA Medical Business to support development of strategic plans.
- Provide data-supported customer intelligence and strategic insights for Senior Management.
- Implement professional customer business reviews for sales teams, uncover incremental selling opportunities.
- Play a key role in reviewing and optimizing NA Medical KPIs and initiatives.
- Provide business performance insights, including customer insights and sales trends (Sell-in / Sell-out), for Customer reviews (GPO & IDN business reviews) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Guide Sales teams, including key account managers, in onboarding new opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Pricing & Contract Management team to inform pricing strategies for RFP responses, GPO/IDN contracts, product price adjustments, and customer-specific pricing.
- Provide detailed projections to support the forecasting process (for budget & Forecast).
- Support the forecasting process in collaboration with Supply, Finance and Sales. Provide the relevant sales trends (including Sell-in, Sales Tracings / POS) to help Sales refine forecasts.
- Review distributor forecast data - including seasonality and promotional activity - and partner with key account contacts to drive forecasting accuracy
- Provide sales forecasting information to marketing and supply departments for GPO private label/co-branding partnerships competitively positioning Ansell to achieve growth objectives.
- Represent customer forecasts in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and perform forecast accuracy analysis to identify focus areas. Work in partnership with customers, as well as with Sales, Customer Forecasting, Brand Management, and Supply Chain with a focus on improving customer forecast accuracy
- Work with Commercial leadership and Data Ops & Sales Excellence to define data and dashboarding requirements for a BI/analytic platform, enhancing visibility and efficiency while enabling measurement and analysis.
- Partner with Data Ops & Sales Excellence to optimize and other systems/tools, ensuring effective sales pipeline management.
What will you bring to Ansell?
- 10+ years of work experience in Commercial Analytics, Demand, Finance or Sales Planning function in a best practice dynamic Healthcare / Pharmaceutical company
- Strong understanding of the US Healthcare market with progressive experience in sales / financial analytics, working with sales data associated with GPO and IDN networks
- Technical Acumen: End-to-end systems knowledge to integrate inventory management, reorder points, forecasted order requirements, etc.
- Business Acumen: Commercial orientation to understand business needs and solve critical problems. Business partnering and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Data-Based Decision Making and Learning Agility: Uses data to make decisions and demonstrate flexibility to make course-correction and redirects efforts and resources to ensure successful execution. Learns quickly and shares learnings with team. Analytical mindset, with capacity to absorb information and data to drive solid conclusions.

Serve as the key point of contact for all other regional stakeholders: Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Warehouse & Logistics, Quality & Procurement, Master Data Management (MDM) and Finance.
