Water Resources Engineer to be part of this success.
POSITIONIn this role, you will thrive with various natural resource engineering project design opportunities. The Engineer will support the planning, designing, permitting, assisting, funding, bidding, and performing of water resource projects. Design work focuses on hydraulic structures, waterways, irrigation, stormwater systems, and riparian restoration, to name a few, for natural resources-related projects. These responsibilities include:
- Prepare plans, specifications, costs, and estimates for water resource projects.
- Leverage design software to create project designs, draft plans, drawings, and models according to the client's scope of work.
- Perform hydraulic modeling such as HEC-RAS, closed conduit programs, sediment transport, and Riverware.
- Oversees project tasks from start to finish, functioning as a project and client services manager.
- Assessing field data such as flow data, soil, topographic information, and environmental measurements to support hydraulic calculations.
- Applies knowledge of environmental policy and regulation in design work.

- Minimum of 8+ years in water resources project work
- Knowledgeable of environmental regulation and environmental policy
- Planning, design, and bid execution of water resource projects
- Proficient with associated hydraulic modeling programs
