Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a licensed Water Resources Engineering Manager in New Orleans, LA. They will oversee the technical planning, design, construction, and project management of drinking water and wastewater source, distribution, storage and treatment projects throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. *This position is physically based in New Orleans while reporting remotely into our Florida leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Project management oversight of water/wastewater source, distribution, storage and treatment projects
- Technical planning, design and construction of water/wastewater treatment projects
- Business development and lead identification; connecting with clients regarding existing and new project work
- Facilitation of project proposals, project interviews and project presentations
- Team management: this position will have one direct report initially and will build out our NOLA footprint
- Strategic planning, goal management, deliverables execution
Essential Functions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to manage and mentor junior staff
- Commitment to building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
Experience
- 10 years of engineering experience executing a variety of water and/or wastewater engineering projects
- MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam experience preferred
Education
- B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Certification
- Louisiana Professional Engineer License required
