Speech Language Pathologist
TITLE: Teacher
FLSA: Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold proper certification according to the state of Missouri.
REPORTS TO: Principal and/or other Supervisor
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: New teachers 190 days; returning teachers 186 days with benefits provided according to the Park Hill School District and PH National Education Association Agreement.
JOB GOAL: To assist students in learning the appropriate subject matter, skills and/or attitudes that will
contribute to their development as responsible citizens.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Exhibits punctuality in assigned duties.
2. Provide a positive role model for students.
3. Employs effective instructional strategies consistent with lesson objectives.
4. Evaluates student abilities and progress in a timely and consistent manner.
5. Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
6. Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
7. Effectively manages classroom behavior.
8. Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required.
9. Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
OTHER PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strives to improve professional competence.
2. Supports the total school program by observing curricular and extra-curricular student activities.
3. Participates in curriculum review and design.
4. Attends meetings and performs duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
Salary:$43,210 Value Per Year
