The Remote Service Specialist is responsible for remotely servicing the service activities related to customers BAS needs. Along with the Service Coordinator they will manage and diagnose technical support requests for service agreement customers and warranty calls. This role involves the ability to analyze, diagnose and communicate building control system issues. This role acts as a central point of contact for clients, technicians and internal stakeholders; and plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and operation of Ameresco’s service systems. Responsibilities: Managing clients requests and inquiries, provide feedback and solutions. Remote troubleshooting minimizing site visits. Perform remote access to client sites diagnosing issues. Responsible for tracking work order status. In the field back up support as needed. Training and developing new field personnel on various systems. Travel less than 10%. Highly organized and experienced at managing multiple customer requests. Exceptional communication skills and is comfortable managing customer’s expectations. Understanding of health, safety, and security standards in building environments. Excellent computer skills, is a competent user of MS Office Suite and familiar with navigating software systems. Use problem solving/critical thinking skills and independent thinking to overcome challenges. Hands on experience with BAS controls. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of senior level technical controls experience 2-year technical degree or certification. Additional Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Customer facing experience. Experience with Niagara, Bacnet, LON. Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting experience.
