Your ImpactThe Field Service Manager - Solar Operations and Maintenance (O&M), is an internal project manager and responsible for the continuous improvement and pricing of operations and maintenance services for Pearce Renewables. The candidate will have strong interaction with external customers and internal stakeholders such as Sales, Business Operations, Field Operations, and Procurement to drive growth and optimization of our Solar service offerings to the U.S. market.
This is a Remote position, but candidates must reside in Minnesota, preferably in the Minneapolis area. Core Responsibilities- Oversee the development of proposals, bids, quotations, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from customers.
- Partner with Procurement leaders and meet with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
- Identify and onboard new electrical contractors to strengthen Pearce's offerings and work directly with them to receive, review, and approve bids.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects and maximize business opportunities.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Manage communication between Pearce and the customer to include incident notifications, incident investigations, scheduling and conducting status calls/meetings.
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.Core Experience- 5+ years of related project management experience with electrical contractors as well as commercial/industrial experience.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience with proven leadership skills and a demonstrated capability to drive process improvements.
- Deep understanding of product requirements management and general product knowledge as well as market knowledge, awareness of pricing strategies, and unique selling propositions.
- Knowledgeable in all areas of electrical installation including working knowledge of contract documents, project estimates, construction, and maintenance specifications.
- Excellent communication and networking skills with an analytic, accurate, and focused style of work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is required.
Physical/Work EnvironmentAt Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.
- Remote position with up to 20% travel required. Candidates must reside in Minnesota, preferably in the Minneapolis area.
- Periodically visit assigned account's power generation sites to observe the condition of the site and quality of work performed by Pearce.
