Unit DescriptionFinger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 1,500 video gaming machines and brings the thrill of live thoroughbred racing from April to November and year-round simulcast wagering on thoroughbred and harness racing from across the country. Finger Lakes presents various dining options including a large buffet.
Responsibilities- Order necessary products and maintain all tools and equipment
- Schedule all plantings and horticulture related tasks in a timely manner
- Maintain landscaping environments including all acres of property
- Mow lawn, remove weeds and brush, and perform other skilled yard work
- Keep maintenance room in neat condition
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of field related experience
- Operate motorized vehicle when necessary
- Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License and able to be licensed by New York State Lottery and New York State Racing and Wagering
- Must have general knowledge of the use of simple equipment used in building trades
- Must have a valid driver's license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor
- Ability to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally
- May work around thoroughbred horses
