Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Junior permanent Environmental Project Engineer - Scientist to join our Engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a range of environmental and engineering projects, with a focus on wastewater management, storm sewer design, pavement engineering, and water main construction. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a team of experienced professionals, using cutting-edge technology and methodologies to contribute to sustainable engineering solutions. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities: 1. Involved with contaminated site assessment and remediation, groundwater management, Brownfield redevelopment, and environmental due diligence, while also learning the business skills needed for a successful consulting career. 2. Conducting soil boring logging, well construction logs, aquifer testing, and groundwater sampling. 3. Performing remediation and hydrogeological investigations. 4. Implementing and managing GIS systems for project data management. 5. Conducting Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments, soil gas, and surface water investigations. 6. Utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design and project management tasks. 7. Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and practices. 8. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met within the specified timeline and budget. 9. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on the findings and results of projects to stakeholders. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geology, geoscience, or a related field. 2. Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred, or PE eligible. 3. EIT Certification preferred. 4. Experience with environmental assessment and remediation projects. 5. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. 6. Experience in field sampling, soil boring logging, well construction logs, aquifer testing, and groundwater sampling. 7. Knowledge of remediation and hydrogeological investigations. 8. OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER certification. 9. Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification is a plus. 10. Experience with GIS, phase 1 testing, soil, soil gas, and surface water, et al investigations. 11. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. 12.
