Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a full-time Board Eligible or Board-Certified Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiologist to join our well-established practice in Sacramento and Roseville, CA. The candidate will have completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency with Nuclear Medicine specialization (via dual residency, combination residency, or fellowship) to achieve board status with both ABR and ABNM or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Nuclear Medicine. The Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging section provides coverage for general Nuclear Medicine, cardiac scintigraphy, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and radiopharmaceutical therapies. Non-radiology training programs are present at two of the acute care facilities allowing for educational opportunities with residents. Candidate should have a desire to provide timely, high-quality patient care in a collegial and collaborative environment. Key Practice Features: Large well-established multispecialty group providing quality care with group compensation bonus for meeting participation and imaging division-based quality improvement projects. Perform general Nuclear Medicine and cardiac scintigraphy including stress testing supervision, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and radiopharmaceutical therapies. On-site and remote reading shifts. Participate in a subspecialty-structured radiology group. Manage 179 shifts per year, equivalent to a 1.0 FTE. The Nuclear Medicine section covers 5 acute care facilities and 6 outpatient imaging sites as well as a mobile imaging unit. Productivity coverage for multidisciplinary tumor board conference and lung nodule conference. Weekend and holiday coverage in shared rotation. Opportunity for additional income with voluntary remote shifts either in Nuclear Medicine or radiology shifts. Evening call in shared rotation from 6 pm to 10 pm, teleradiology service provides overnight preliminary interpretation. Compensation and Benefits: Base Salary: $600,000 annually, with an opportunity to increase income through additional voluntary shift work and incentives. Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000.
