Job Description Job Summary: The Technical Skills Specialist is responsible for doing technical skills assessments with all non-entry-level Structured Cabling candidates to determine their skill-level. MUST HAVE FIELD EXPERIENCE IN STRUCTURED CABLING - BICSI CERTIFICATIONS PREFERRED General Job Duties and Responsibilities: Work with internal teams and hiring managers to facilitate recruitment efforts. Technical assessments for internal candidates. Technical assessments for both new Direct Hires and Temporary employees Able to preserve confidential information; self-sufficient problem solver; work with little or no supervision and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization. Counsel candidates on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment Participate in employment events, such as career fairs and college visits. Use sophisticated applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software and CRM system to track applicants through the selection phase to on-boarding. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Physical and Mental Requirements: Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help to create, develop and implement process improvement(s). Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners. Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral direction(s) to project personnel. Extended periods of sitting, computer use, talking and possibly standing. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality Regular attendance is mandatory. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency. Demonstrated ability to cultivate and build relationships. Practices continual process improvement and sourcing best practices to enhance service. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Proven ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize and organize multiple activities to meet hiring managers' demands. Ensure that customers (hiring managers) know their needs are recognized and services are being provided as quickly as possible. Must meet Company minimum driving standards. Ability to travel locally to Talent Acquisition opportunities. Must have at least six (6) years of structured cabling/low-voltage field experience. Prefer Lead level or higher.
