Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Landscape Designer/Project Landscape Architect to join our company. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary teams on a variety of projects such as streetscapes, parks, campuses, trail systems, open space and municipal planning projects.

Office locations for this position are Portland, ME| Topsham, ME | Bedford, NH | Portsmouth, NH |Burlington, MA |Marlborough, MA |Providence, RI | Middletown, CT

Responsibilities

  • Prepare site plans, specifications and cost estimates
  • Create conceptual renderings
  • Meet with clients, engineers and building architects to understand the requirements of a project
  • Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures
  • Analyze environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage
  • Design site stormwater best management practices
  • Visit sites to understand project conditions
  • Report writing

Essential Functions

  • Able to build strong relationship with coworkers
  • Excellent attention to detail

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience

Certifications

  • Licensed in ME, NH, CT, RI, MA or FL considered a plus, not required

Education

  • B.S. Degree in Landscape Architecture
