Landscape Architect Intern to join our
Leesburg, VA office for
Summer 2025 to work on a variety of projects for clients within the commercial and government sector. Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, commercial and industrial site development, and capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities- Site/civil development including grading design
- Prepare detailed landscape and hardscape plans
- Prepare layout studies, yield studies, and parking studies for commercial/residential
- Prepare development plans to support Rezoning and/or Special Exception applications
- Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans
- May also conduct code research and write specifications
Required Skills & Required Experience- Currently pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
- Previous internship experience desired.
- Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft office is required.
- Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView and Power Point.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

Program InformationSummer Intern Program During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
