Description
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement projects, focusing on process enhancements, scrap reduction, and supplier quality.
- Implement LEAN manufacturing techniques and design solutions.
- Utilize 8D problem solving for root cause analysis.
- Facilitate value stream mapping to identify and document business improvements.
- Track and implement cost reduction initiatives for process improvements.
- Oversee lean process implementation, automation, and quality improvements.
- Lead quality initiatives and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Develop and sustain employee training programs focused on lean concepts.
Profile
- Required: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess a Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a role focused on Lean methodologies, specifically outside of quality assurance.
- Demonstrated experience in fostering a culture of quality awareness that extends beyond the quality inspection team.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with the implementation of adaptable robotics and automation systems.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Local to Hillsborough County NH, and comfortable working at a small company that needs support in building up its quality and Lean programs.
