The Information Systems Security Manager II (CISCO Lead) is responsible for overseeing IT security and networking operations, focusing on CISCO technologies, VoIP, and Navy systems. This full-time, onsite position at Portsmouth and St. Julien’s Creek Annex requires a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in IT security and networking, particularly with CISCO networking systems and VoIP solutions. The candidate must have expertise in CISCO Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), routers, switches, and be comfortable managing both Windows and Linux environments. Experience with Navy C4I systems is a plus. The role requires an active SECRET clearance and up to 25% travel. Responsibilities Lead and manage IT security operations and networking initiatives, focusing on CISCO systems and VoIP infrastructure. Administer and configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and oversee VoISP, VTC, VTCoSP, routers, and switches. Provide technical leadership in securing and managing CISCO networking environments, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with security protocols. Support both Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring secure integration with networking systems. Ensure compliance with Navy C4I standards (preferred) and DoD security regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain secure communication networks. Identify and resolve vulnerabilities in the network infrastructure and oversee the implementation of security measures. Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, security measures, and incident reports. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the status of networking and security operations. Travel up to 25% for site visits, project management, and technical assessments. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Certifications: IAT II certification required (e.g., Security+). Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in networking and IT security. Extensive experience with CISCO networking systems, including routers, switches, and VoIP solutions. Proficiency in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM). Experience with VoISP, VTC, VTCoSP, Windows, and Linux operating systems. Navy C4I experience is a plus. Active SECRET clearance is required. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
