Waste Handler - Full-time Day schedule
As a
Waste Handlerwith Sentara, you will be responsible for transporting all types of waste, including RMW (Regulated Medical Waste), Recycled, Solid and Sharps and Chemo, as assigned, while practicing safe work habits through the appropriate use of various dedicated waste containers and following departmental guidelines.

Job SummaryResponsible for transporting all types of waste, including RMW (Regulated Medical Waste), Recycled, Solid and Sharps and Chemo, as assigned, practicing safe work habits through the appropriate use various dedicated waste containers. Must follow procedures for transporting waste per departmental guidelines. Adheres to all regulatory standards for waste collection and transport.
1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.
Qualifications:HS - High School Grad or Equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience in lieu of High School Education
SkillsCommunication, Reading Comprehension, Service Orientation, Speaking
