Our client, a prominent player in the Mining, Refining, and Production of Phosphate, is actively seeking an Maintenance Engineer for their Aurora, NC location. This role, situated within the Maintenance department, is crucial for providing comprehensive engineering support, focusing on preventive maintenance and repair activities for critical plant equipment.
Responsibilities of the Position
What's the Job?
- Provide engineering support for Maintenance department, overseeing preventive maintenance and repair activities for critical plant equipment, including fixed assets and rotating machinery.
- Analyze failed equipment, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Focus on rotating equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to align with the operating unit's business goals.
- Manage the equipment lubrication program and set goals for continuous improvement with vendors.
- Advise on the proper execution and documentation of repair and preventive maintenance activities for both rotating and fixed assets.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial plant maintenance and/or reliability engineering experience.
- 1 to 2 years of Vibration Analysis Experience.
- 1 to 2 years of Lubrication program experience.
