Let’s Redefine Possible® SUMMARY Mortenson’s Data Center Solutions Group is currently seeking a Project Finance Operations Supervisor that will provide accounting, analysis, and financial support to one or more team’s overseeing completion of a construction project. This individual will serve as the key liaison from the Finance and Accounting department to the project team. Strong communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success in this role. RESPONSIBILITIES Manages a team of Project Operations Accountants. Team Member Oversite and Development Reviews contracts and understands contract terms. Administration of project set-ups, ensuring conformity to the contract terms. Oversee the preparation of monthly project billings, in accordance with contractual requirements for both cost based and fixed price contracts: Ensure that all costs are billed on a timely basis. Resolve customer or project team billing issues as they arise. Follow up with customer contacts as requested and monitor overall cash position of projects to ensure favorable cash flow. Provide assistance to project cost functions. Supervise the accurate and timely deployment of subcontractor, certified payroll reports, and specialized reporting as requested. Support project teams in developing Project Financial Projections (PFP). Work with Accounts Payable to set up new vendors and coordinate payments. Support collections of receivables. Support the billing, reporting, and inventory processes for equipment operations. Provide support for project audits. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related field; or equivalent years of experience. Effectively work with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. Leadership skills: Ability to set direction and implement changes across a team. Resourcefulness. Self-starting work habits. Problem solving based on information and sound judgment. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to internal and external customers. Ability to understand complex construction business concepts. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
