Cleveland Clinic's Environmental Services Department is consistently among the highest-performing EVS teams in healthcare, and we're looking to add an Environmental Services Manager to our team to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect.
A caregiver in this position works 7:00am - 4:00pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Manage the technical and administrative functions of the assigned EVS function.
- Implement short- and long-term goals consistent with those of EVS and clinical units.
- Manage quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the assigned areas.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with all appropriate codes and standards.
- Provide direct supervision of assigned EVS team members.
- Ensure that all members have a performance management program.
- Ensure that policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout the program.
- Perform regular evaluation and mentoring of all team members.
- Assist with the development and implementation of programs for the professional growth of members in areas of responsibility, both technical and behavioral.
- Participate in the development of environmental services operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility.
- Increase efficiency and effectiveness of environmental services activities with a goal of decreasing expenses.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Four years of hospitality or housekeeping experience including two years of management experience. A bachelor's degree may substitute two years of management experience.

Physical Requirements: - Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
