Monday - Friday with a flexible start between 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM and a flexible end of 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM.
A day in the life as a Water Resources EngineerAs a Water Resources Engineer, you start your day reviewing design plans for new storm drains, ensuring they meet both functionality and sustainability criteria. You then dive into a meeting with the engineering team to discuss the implementation of stormwater management facilities, focusing on optimizing water flow and reducing flood risks. Afterward, you conduct a site visit to assess erosion and sediment control measures, making necessary adjustments to protect the environment and maintain compliance with regulations. Your day wraps up with documenting your findings and preparing a report for the next phase of the project, always keeping the community's safety and environmental health at the forefront of your efforts.
