We have an immediate need for an
Environmental Project Manager in Exton, PA. The Project Manager will possess a technical understanding of environmental investigation, compliance, and remediation projects and be able to successfully manage these projects, be detail-oriented, organized, dependable, resourceful, and able to perform well under the pressure of multiple deadlines. The PM will be a leader in the company and will work with staff to ensure they are challenged and work effectively. The PM will need to be responsible for working more independently with a minimal level of guidance while mentoring and managing staff.

- The average salary range for this position is between $80,000 to $100,000 and will be based on factors such as experience, education, and geographical location.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Independently manage multiple projects of varying complexity for multiple clients;
- Develop cost estimates based on customer scope of work/performance work statement for the projects managed as well as assist in costing other projects, as needed;
- Assist with business development, proposal pricing strategies, proposal preparation, contract legal and risk reviews, and related marketing efforts needed to develop winning proposals;
- Develop subcontractor/vendor solicitations and review proposals/quotes to validate price;
- Independently prepare technical and price proposals for straightforward and moderately complex projects;
- Manage procurement and scheduling of sub-contractors and vendors and prepare project submittals and deliverables;
- Accomplish project management activities as assigned by and in support of lead Project Managers, Program Managers, or Client Service Managers;
- Ensure effective implementation of Safety and Quality Control requirements;
- Coordinate the project from inception to completion;
- Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner;
- Help problem-solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project;
- Conduct budget and schedule management;
- Deliver day-to-day project tracking and communication with the project team;
- Oversee project financials such as, but not limited to, project budgets, cost control performance, profitability updates to managers, labor costs and expenses, review and track all contracts, invoices, and payments to all contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or related required.
- Professional registration or ability to obtain is preferred (PE or PG).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in a management role.
- Experience with federal government contracting is highly preferred.
