Job Summary and Qualifications:

General Statement of Duties: Executes company and facility environmental services programs and procedures by training, supervising and motivating the environmental services staff to ensure all tasks are completed and schedules are met.

What qualifications will you need:

Essential Job Functions:

1. Performs all environmental services related tasks demonstrating service orientation to fellow employees, client staff and customers.

2. Outlines work requirements for Supervisors and monitors their effectiveness and provide guidance as needed.

3. Work closely with and motivates staff to ensure work is performed properly.

4. Orders and maintains an adequate stock of supplies for Environmental/Linen Services.

5. Prepares and recommends work schedules/task for all assigned areas to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to quality standards.

6. Insures that the Environmental Services Storeroom is clean and orderly and that adequate supplies are on hand at all times.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, Required Knowledge, Skill, Abilities and Other Job-Related Characteristics:

1. Education: None

2. Experience: A minimum of (3) years of environmental services experience with (1) one year of experience in a team lead/supervisory position.

3.Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).

4. Preferred: College degree in business management. Bilingual is a plus.
