Job Family: Sustainability Consulting Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: None What You Will Do: The Energy Providers practice helps utilities and energy companies stay ahead of the curve as the energy industry rapidly transitions to require cleaner fuel supply, increased reliability, improved resilience, and more control over energy costs for customers. Consultants support project teams both at client sites and internally. Responsibilities include client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. The key function of a Consultant's role is to create and present high-quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. Consultants gather and analyze data and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure as well as established best practices and benchmarks. Key responsibilities may include: Contributing to creative problem-solving to drive outcomes for clients Data analysis, technical engineering reviews, economic modeling, and/or primary data collection Assessing energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and trends Building and technology energy simulation modeling Field performance measurement and data collection of building and industrial process energy systems Market research, literature reviews, and policy analysis Fact-finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for client deliverables Developing technology strategies for utilities, government, and energy companies Communicating solutions and new strategies to clients and stakeholders What You Will Need: Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years Minimum Degree Required: Master's Degree (Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in 2024 and graduate by summer 2025) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country No current or future sponsorship is available for this position What Would Be Nice To Have: Degree/Majors Preferred: Engineering, Data Science, Public Policy, Sustainability, Economics, or a related discipline Strong interest and/or experience in the energy, sustainability, and/or consulting industries Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel Knowledge of R, Python, SQL, SPSS, or other programming languages Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills Proactive and independent work style Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlines Ability to assume ownership of significant portions of tasks while collaborating with a close-knit team Highly developed organizational and management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills Excellent at visualizing data, synthesizing insights, and storytelling with data Excitement to explore the underlying cause of the observation/result The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
