Job Purpose As sustainable water management becomes increasingly vital for preserving Colorado's natural resources, we are seeking a passionate leader to drive transformative conservation initiatives. At Resource Central, we partner with over 50 municipalities and water providers to help homeowners adopt water-saving practices and sustainable landscaping. As Senior Program Manager, you will lead the innovative Lawn Replacement team, refining this water conservation program to create a more structured, scalable operation. This program allows residents to replace thirsty traditional lawns with beautiful, low-maintenance, waterwise plants that support pollinators and significantly reduce water use. Additionally, you will guide the popular Slow the Flow Sprinkler Evaluation Program team, which has assisted thousands in optimizing their irrigation systems through evaluations, education, and smart technology. Drive Innovation : Lead ongoing development and long-term planning to keep programs innovative, impactful, and adaptable to community needs. Cultivate a Healthy and Fun Team Culture : Foster collaboration and innovation by hiring, supervising, and mentoring team members, while supporting their professional growth. Advance Partner Relationships : Work with the Engagement Manager to deepen relationships with Colorado municipalities and water providers, and inspire new communities to join water conservation efforts. Increase Program Participation : Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement creative outreach strategies that boost interest and participation in water conservation programs. Leverage Field Insights for Improvement : Actively engage in field operations to gather firsthand knowledge, using these insights to drive strategic improvements that enhance program performance and success. Improve Workflows : Review and refine program workflows and documentation to ensure continuity and support program scalability. Oversee Financial Health : Guide program staff in managing financials, including Profit and Loss statements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budget, and transparent progress reporting. Provide Vision and Leadership : Be a leader on the water conservation team to increase program impact and visibility, advancing Resource Central's initiatives. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience leading team-based programs, demonstrating a track record of significant growth and financial achievement. Demonstrated expertise in staff management and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture. Proven track record in providing financial oversight, ensuring budget adherence, and meeting financial goals effectively. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; one year of professional-level experience may substitute for one year of required education. Must pass a background check, hold a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record. Reliable vehicle required for occasional travel to other Front Range cities.
