Production Manager This exciting role will oversee the safe and efficient production of all the solar panels, manage all the production teams, and work closely with the maintenance and quality teams. Great leadership skills and effective scheduling will be needed to be successful in this role. They are headquartered in the Burlington, WA area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of solar cells and PV Modules for the renewable energy industry. If you are an individual who loves to be hands-on and lead production teams, this role could be for you Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all production processes and teams at the Burlington facility. Oversee and manage all production supervisors. Plan and execute the production schedule. Set, plan, and meet all production targets and goals. Review and adjust the production schedule as needed. Ensure the timely completion of all direct-report employee reviews. Coach and guide all production team members to improve the overall competency of the production staff. Manage human and material resources needed to meet production targets. Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for production operations. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures. Set and monitor product quality standards. Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives. Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems. Determine and implement improvements to the production process. Prepare and maintain production reports. Estimate production costs. Set and manage production budgets, implementing cost control and cost-saving programs. Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between departments including quality, engineering, maintenance procurement, logistics, warehouse, and management. Monitor KPIs looking at Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and labor hours per watt/panel. Ability to work flexible and rotating shifts as needed. Ability to head a team successfully and resolve issues relating to personnel quickly and efficiently. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience 7 years of production experience is required 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience within a production environment Knowledge of process improvement, budgeting, and production standards Proficient in Microsoft Office and ADP software Exceptional organizational and time management skills Salary Range: $90,000-110,000 base depending on experience eligibility for up to 15% bonus.
