Start designing tomorrow's future We are looking for a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in New York. The Associate Electrical Engineer will lead the design of electrical systems and manage a team to deliver high-quality solutions. You will work closely with clients, architects, other Buro Happold Engineers, and/or design team members as part of a dedicated and skilled team. Duties include the production of coordinated detailed design drawings, specifications, written reports, site observation reports, schedules etc. on a variety of projects. Your next role As a key part of the team, your responsibilities will be varied, but likely to include: Lead the design and technical specifications of electrical systems, ensuring quality output. Manage project resources, client relationships, and deliver high-quality solutions. Guide graduates and other junior engineers through their professional development. Communicate directly with clients and maintain client relationships. Ensure practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the client's best interests and comply with current legislation and building codes. Your skills and experience 8 years of experience in electrical engineering design for buildings and infrastructure. Demonstrated experience in a senior role within MEP for an architectural engineering consultancy. Relevant bachelor or master's degree. Professional Engineer (P.E.) desirable. LEED AP accredited preferred. Experience using Revit and computational analysis tools. Excellent client-facing and communication skills. Ability to problem solve and propose multiple solutions to clients. What we offer: Salary range of $110,000 to $155,000.
