Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) on field safety management.
- Experience in implementing programs to manage EHS construction and operational risks.
Preferred qualifications: - Certified Safety Professional certification or other applicable EHS certification.
- 10 years of experience in EHS management.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in proactive safety management solutions to prevent the development of negative safety trends.
- Experience leading construction EHS efforts for multi-site projects across dispersed geographies.
- Understanding of the project management process and basic construction contract structures.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives across a defined area. You will work directly with Google Data Center partners, general contractors, electrical/mechanical trades and organizations, key integrators, fabricators, and commissioning agents to improve the EHS programs and performance on our projects. You will engage in pre-qualification evaluations of potential vendors, update the project manual, and communicate EHS expectations. You will be involved in strategic planning, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery. You will be tracking a set of performance metrics, developing and implementing best practices including lessons learned, and regularly reporting to stakeholders to help the organization scale efficiently.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities - Lead the development and ownership of the EHS program for area construction oversight and data collection.
- Ensure that contractors deliver on program safety performance expectations and agreement requirements, providing timely solutions to issues.
- Monitor, advise, and assist the construction project teams to protect people, environment, and ensure compliance.
- Drive a culture that embraces a continuous learning approach and aligns with organizational strategies including goals and objectives.
- Liaise with the wider Construction EHS team to ensure best practices are fully and completely implemented, progress reported, trends and data captured and analyzed, and risks mitigated to an acceptable level ensuring that the operational capacity of a live Data Center is not compromised.
